Haughton man injured in DeSoto crash

A Haughton man was flown to LSU Hospital in critical condition Saturday evening after an accident with a tractor trailer.

Michael Carter, 42, stopped at the intersection of U.S. Highway 84 and Louisiana Highway 481 outside of Logansport around 7 p.m.

Tanker accident closes one lane of Interstate 81 in Rockbridge County

An accident involving a tractor trailer has caused a six mile back up at mile marker 194 in Rockbridge County.

The left lane is closed due to a tanker that has rolled over in this location. The tanker contains 5,000 gallons of fuel that must be unloaded before the tanker can be removed.

2 killed in massive pileup

Madison – Authorities said tonight that two people are dead and three others were taken to hospitals with life-threatening injuries after thick fog caused a massive pileup involving at least 30 vehicles today on a freeway near Madison.
